Since 1972 I am imprisoned. Both handicap & paralysis have prevented me from movement. I move only my right hand. Fortunately, I can writhe, draw & create things with my hand.I was born in Mosul city in 1972. When I began to realize things, I discovered that Iraq has been controlled by a brutal terrorist party. ((Ba'ath party)) which exploited religion as a means to govern people during the decades they ruled Iraq.Later on, conditions worsened. Besides paralysis & handicap, political & economic conditions. Prevented me from attending school. If you were not a member of ((Ba'ath party)), it mean that you were accused & you were against the government. But I was talented in drawing. I inherited that talent from my Father. I myself wanted to read & write & I might have inherited that from my Mother. Both my parents encouraged me, they began buy me some books. During the firs ten years of my childhood then, then they couldn't afford to do that because of the sever economic circumstances we suffered. My Mother encouraged me continuously not to be disappointed by hanging me the books, pencils, pens. Telling me not to waste time without learning something. She used to say: your min still comprehend, but if you grow older, it will be more difficult for you to do that. I learning, reading & writing Arabic at the beginning. I read whatever books I could get, I read novels, poetry, history, theology, philosophy, different economic theories, such Capitalism & Communism.I was very sad as most of the books were prohibited by the government. Whenever I heard about a book, my parents said that that book was not available "prohibited" of course, things didn't remain as they were. Things changed after the American & allies forces freed Iraq. I tried to read some books I had heard about, but unfortunately, the Dictatorship had burned all those books. So I started my other talent drawing. I didn't like to draw people's faces, like cameras, but I drew the people I have read about, such as kings of Assyria, Babylon & other ancient empires & kingdoms, the hanging gardens. Unlucky, all this drawings lost when we moved from Mosul city to the safe zone which was made by NATO in north of Iraq in 1991.Most of our relatives & some of my friends told me that I am like "Van Kogh" who lived poor & after his death his painting were sold well. I never gave up & I was not greedy to play or run with my mates, but I was satisfied to watch them playing. Some times I used to read my books while they play. For instance a Friend of mine brought me a famous novel of ((War & Peace)) & said to me : this your "food" for a week.."!! But I was able to finish the 800 pages for the next day. At the end of 80ths, my family, and my parents, my four brothers & sister, under new terrible conditions, I realized after Saddam's invasion of Kuwait, we as Iraqis will pass through a destructive earthquake due the criminal regime that ruled Iraq.I would like to mention that in 1989, my brother was born. His exactly the same as me. I felt very sad at beginning, but later he becomes a friend as he made house less dull for me.My brother & I are interested in the Internet & we are good at it. Readers can visit his website: www.jacknolse.i8.com When we moved to the safe zone, the circumstances were very difficult. Till now we are tenants & my family has to pay $500 monthly. Despite the difficulties & the dictator policy of the Kurdish & Islamic parties, I m grateful to the allied forces as I can read & write whatever I like. Finally, & after freedom of Iraq, we hope, my brother & I, can leave for treatment to USA or any European country, because we want live to see new democratic Iraq.By way now I am drawing The Panorama of the story of civilization, I have nearly finished 17 miters.
